I am always amazed at the diligent team work from our small but dedicated group of volunteer quilters! They show up every Wednesday from 1pm - 4pm to make quilts for those in need. Every Wednesday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, we have a terrific group of people getting together to make quilts for charity. All levels of quilters and sewers are welcome. The cotton fabric has been donated and Findlay's donates the use of the sewing machines. All you need to bring is yourself and a smile. The coffee is always on (not to mention the homemade cookies) and no experience is necessary!!
This is a beautiful little wall hanging stock full of techniques! In this class you will learn basic 3-D flowers, machine applique, fabric weaving & free motion quilting to create another beautiful Mount Redoubt project. We have done a few of their projects in the past and they fill up very quickly. So sign up early to guarantee your spot!
Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but didn't know where to begin? Come and learn all about your sewing machine and the accessories that go with it such as needles, bobbins and presser feet. You will learn how to measure yourself to figure out what size is right for you and how to pin, cut, mark and sew a stylish and comfy pyjama top or low rise pants.
This is a great little welcome banner sure to make your guests feel "welcome" in your home! It's a wonderful beginner project, or just a fun class for those that just need a little quilting social!Sewing Quilting Classes Event Holiday

Findlay's Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class start. Findlay's will issue a store credit provided your cancellation does not reduce class participation below minimum number required. Minimum number of students is three, maximums vary by class. When applicable the teacher will be glad to leave class notes. Findlay's does reserves the right to cancel 48 hours prior to any class if participation level is below minimum. Findlay's will issue a full refund for any class we cancel.
- Please pick up a supply list at time of registration. Purchase supplies prior to arriving for class.
- Those registered for a class receive a 15% discount on class supplies.
- Please mark all tools and supply's as Findlay's is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Possible make up classes may be arranged with Findlay's for a cost of $20.00 per hr. + GST
